5 Great Clipper Memories

Here are a few of our fondest Clipper Memories from throughout the years...

Steve Novak hitting a buzzer beater to beat the Nets in 2009: Even though he probably stepped out of bounds slightly, who cares? Such an exciting finish, and you gotta love Steve. BINGOOOOOO!!!!

2006 Playoff Run: Probably the most exciting time to be a Clipper fan since they moved to LA, as they stomped out the Nuggets, followed by an exciting series with the Suns. Forcing game 7, Radmo hitting five three-pointers in game 3. Lots of good memories here.

Victory over the Miami Heat in 2011: An unlikely Clippers squad came ready to play and beat out the renowned Heatles, putting up some nice highlights while they were at it. The stadium was packed, with everybody wanting to see The Big 3, not really expecting too much of a game. Staples Center has never been so loud. Great win.

Blake against the Knicks in 2010: This was BG's coming out party. Everyone in that arena knew we had someone special when he posterized Timofey Mosgov (and just about every other player on the Knicks).

The Elton Brand Draft-Day Trade: In 2001, the Bulls shipped Elton to the Clipps for Brian Skinner and the rights to Tyson Chandler. Although Elton Brand ultimately hurt our fragile Clipper feelings, he provided us with several very solid years and was the backbone of the organization throughout the early 2000's, teaming up with Lamar Odom, Darius Miles, and Quentin Richardson to give us the most exciting Clippers era until Lob City. Great memories.
